Hello pretty ladies! Smile

I’m not actually a fan of face powders. For me, it’s much more convenient to use a liquid foundation. But still, there are some powders in my stash which I’m absolutely in love with. And it even feels like I’ve found a dupe of my favorite MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder.

Smashbox Photo Filter Powder Foundation:

The powder is packed with a rather heavy square compact which willingly collects all my fingerprints.

Inside they placed a pretty big and handy mirror. The sponge is also provided and it’s placed in the bottom compartment under the powder. As for the quality, it’s great and perfect for this powder application.

Size - 9.9g

Made in the USA

The powder offers gentle and as though satin consistency, but it’s still pressed tightly so it doesn’t crumble or dust.

The finish is satin and so beautiful that it really reminds me of the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish powder.

The surface has a printed camera shutter, which rings the bell with its name - Photo Filter and the Smashbox brand as a professional makeup.

This powder can be used as a setting product as well as a replacement for your foundation. It’s better to use a sponge or a thick brush for its application for a higher coverage and finish.

The powder applies seemingly but it still can define some of my skin flaking. It doesn’t diminish the appearance of my pores but still, it looks fantastic on my skin.

It doesn’t dry out my skin and doesn’t make me break out even if I use it every day.

The shade #4 is a classic tanned skin color, that is perfect for the summer (if I apply it thicker) and even when it’s cold and I’m not tanned (if applied with a fluffy brush for a seamless finish).

As for the staying power, it’s excellent, till the moment I remove it.

My skin is mixed, which is prone to oily shine in my T-zone. For the first 3-4 hours after the application, my skin looks satin matte and then the coverage turns more satin yet still not oily.

And now let’s assess the product’s performance over my skin. My nude skin with all the blemishes on it:

Here I applied the powder with a featured sponge and pat it more over the sides of my nose for a better coverage.

Highlighter + bronzer: And full-on makeup as you like.

Smashboх within 4 hours on my face.

Smashbox Photo Filter Powder Foundation has managed to become my favorite powder. I use it solo in the summer a lot and I love the way my skin looks with it. In winter I use it more like a setting product and it always performs great.

Price - $42

Thanks for your attention! Have an awesome shopping day! Wink
