Hello there!

I accidentally laid my eye on this long-term resident of my bathroom shelf while I taking a shower. It was the moment I realized I had to tell you about this exfoliating cream which I still can’t use up. Taking the ball before the bound I have to say that it happens only with the products I don’t actually welcome. I always put this product aside and leave it only for very hot days. I’ll tell you why but first things first. Smile

I was presented with this product. I guess I would have never bought it for myself because I think it’s unreasonably priced, besides, its list of ingredients leaves much to be desired. I’ve tried many products from this brand and they don’t make me rave about them. The Clinique brand is said to be hypoallergenic mostly due to the absence of perfume agents in their formulas. However, as a person with a reactive skin type, I state that it’s not perfect for all cases.

So, a few words about this exfoliating cream. It comes packed with a standard 250ml jar and costs $28 for an item.

It’s gentle white-blue-gray and thick cream in consistency.

The formula is infused with salicylic acid which is a great skin exfoliator. (The maker infuses almost all their formulas with it, because they think it's their key ingredient in skin exfoliation).

The micro beads are tiny, as though sand and not rough for my skin.

The smell of the product reminds me of a men’s skin care products, aka a shaving gel, because of the menthol in the components. By the way, about the menthol. I can’t say that it’s a disadvantage because some people intentionally hunt for it. But as for me, it’s too cooling. It invigorates my skin too much, I’ve got goosies and numbness all over my skin! At least my skin reacts this way. I can use this product only when my skin is warmed and it’s boiling hot outside. Given all that, I still try to apply it as quickly as possible and rinse it off hastily.

The cooling effect remains present on my skin for another 15 minutes.

I guess this product might be advantageous for some of you while on vacation.

As for the smell, I can feel it while using but it doesn’t linger on my skin.

I also want to note that the exfoliating properties of the product are great. My skin really feels soft and gentle to the touch. I don’t crave for some moisturizer or any other skin-nurturing creams after use. I love that pureness feeling too.

The list of ingredients doesn’t have any moisturizing components to it. By the way, the spending is low.

Overall thoughts.

I won’t repurchase it. I won’t recommend it to my friend either. But, as a sales rep, I think that some people might still find it advantageous. It all depends on your needs and subjective feelings. Anyway, I highly recommend you testing it out before purchasing!
