Our flat called for plants and one day we set for visiting our favorite metal shed to save the place.
We liked the real plants, however, they require proper care and there’s nobody in our family who is fond of it. With her watery eyes, my wife set off looking for something that she could handle. And she found something. Ikea Fejka. I think that the name speaks for itself. The potted plant is fake.
Choice: Fejka Artificial Potted Plant
It all started when we bought a flat in a block of flats, which had nothing in it but bare walls. We bought all our furniture from IKEA and it let us save some money for the flat fitout. For a couple of years, we managed to fill two rooms with the needed furniture, which didn’t take up more than 10% of the flat’s price. We painted the walls with white and it has immediately become visually bigger and more airy. However, our place still called for coziness.
The quality of the IKEA Fejka:
The plant, as well as the pot, are made of a good quality polyethylene. Within two years the plant still looks bright, the same as the very day we bought it. The outer appearance is also fine and the plant doesn’t look like those ones which are usually sold nearby at a cemetery. We also bought special cache-pots, so now our plants look even more life-like.
Just wipe it clean with a cloth, so as not to turn it into a dust magnet of the flat.
Materials used: plastic
For a moderate price, we received what we wanted. Now, these plants “grow” on our window sills and a couple of plant pots nicely solubilize the hospital syndrome in the bathroom.
