The iconic Farmyard Tales collection has been re-issued for a new generation of children which I’ve been waiting to appear! And finally I’ve got it. I can’t help but share my joy with you! So this is it - the collection of stories about the characters at Apple Tree Farm.
For about a half a year I’ve been collecting books for my daughter. And this book was put in its rightful place on our bookshelf.
The book is rather thick - 320 pages and it includes 20 stories. The size is 210 х 210 mm. The book is for children of 2 and older. My daughter listens to the stories carefully and asks for more.
In the book there are funny stories about animals on the farm. The text is easy to read, I can recommend this book as personal reading for primary school pupils. The book is absolutely genius as you can put the CD on and continue doing your own thing while your child will be entertained, listening to the story.
The illustrations in the book are very cute.
In general, it’s not simply a book, it’s a picture-book. The book introduces Mrs. Boot the farmer, her children Poppy and Sam, Rusty the dog, Curly the pig, Woolly the sheep and all the other animal characters at Apple Tree Farm.
The illustrations and characters are so precious it's wonderful for both adults and children to share. We also love the adorable little duck which is hidden on every page! It's so much fun to find where he's hiding next, and usually brings on those priceless giggles! Don't hesitate to buy this book. It has quickly become a family favorite and created a deep love of reading for my daughter!
