My today’s review isn’t typical for me, as I’m going to write about a cocktail dress, which I’m planning to wear during the New Year’s Eve celebration. Of course I know it’s recommended to welcome the year of the earth dog wearing something yellow, but this color doesn’t suit me, plus I couldn’t find a beautiful dress of this color.
I bought this dress on Black Friday. I wasn’t planning to buy this particular dress when I was walking through the mall and trying on different outfits. But in the end, this one caught my attention.
In my opinion, the dress suits me well. There also was a 20% discount, so I didn’t ponder long.Also, I’d like to note that I wanted to buy a dress in this very style, which I would be able to wear more than once. And I think this dress by Comma meets my requirements.
I love to wear girly dresses, but unfortunately, it doesn’t happen as often as I want.
Description:
This is an evening lace dress with black lining. The dress itself is dark grey with a delicate gloss. There is also a black ribbon tie belt, which is really figure-flattering, in my opinion.The lining:
The neckline is wide round at the front. At the back, there is a V-neckline and an in-seam zip.

The color is charcoal / grey. It isn’t matte. On the contrary, it has a delicate gloss. I love grey, and that’s why I couldn’t pass by this dress.
92% nylon, 8% elastane; Lining: 95% viscose, 5% elastane
The outer layer is made of synthetic materials, but the lining is 95% natural. The inner side of the dress feels pleasant against the skin. The fabric is gentle and elastic. I don’t care about brands, but I’m very picky when it comes to what my dresses are made of. I prefer natural fabrics.
Even though the outer layer is made of nylon, the dress creases easily. It was perfectly smooth in the store, but as I got home, it had a lot of wrinkles. I had to iron it before making these photos.
On the labels you can find details and care instructions. It’s recommended to wash the dress at 30 degrees and by hand.
The dress can be ironed. I did it, using a Silk mode in my clothing iron, plus a special protective ironing cloth.
The dress is easy to iron, unlike cotton shirts and dresses.

The dress is neat and of great quality, without seam puckers. It fits my figure well without wrinkling.
Now let me show you this dress on me.
I wear it with thin black stockings, little black clutch bag and Christian Louboutin so Kate Pumps.
I think this dress would look great with classical pumps, both red and black (and I love the combination of grey and red). Also, it would go with flats, but not with soft ones, but with those pointed toe flats that hold their shape.
Also, this dress will look great in combination with short black boots or stocking boots. However, it won’t go with middle length boots.
Anyway, I’m happy with this purchase, it’s a beautiful and elegant dress. Thanks to its sleeves and color, it would be appropriate both for summer and winter, and for any occasion.
