My son received this microscope for Christmas. We wanted to present him with something original and useful at the same time, and I think we did it.
Why do I call this a toy? Well, it’s not a professional microscope, it’s more for students, that’s why.
The price-performance ratio is awesome. This stuff deserves 5 stars in my opinion.
The microscope is very easy to use, your child does not need to have much knowledge or skills to work with it. The microscope is connected to the computer with a USB cable, the cable is included in the kit.
You do not even have to look into the microscope, the image is transferred to the computer through a built-in camera. To start the process, you only need to turn it on, put the specimen on the stage and use the adjustment wheel to achieve the desired level of magnification.
The magnification is between 20x to 350x.
With this camera you can take pictures and save them directly to your computer.
How it looks on my laptop (it’s not the maximum magnification, because at the max. level the images appear blurred. )
Some specimens are included in the kit, as well as slides, needles, and tweezers.
There is also a cover made of waterproof material.
Kids love stuff like that. My son is in fifth grade and is very happy with it. He has already examined everything in the house 
My husband and I find it interesting too.
We immediately bought a new set of specimens.

Of course, I do recommend you buy this microscope instead of a pile of useless toys.
