Choosing a pair of jeans has always been a problem. I’m not that tall, and most jeans are too long for me. But the saddest part is the baggy knees. I used to buy stretch jeans for a while, but the knees start to look awful very quickly.
However, when I find a suitable pair, I buy it without a second thought, since jeans are an essential part of my wardrobe.
I liked Levi’s 711 Skinny Jeans for their style and color.
It’s blue, with abrasions. Lately, I got used to high waisted jeans and felt a bit uncomfortable in these mid rise ones. I always wanted to pull them up.
These jeans are made of dense stuff which barely stretches out. My dimensions are:waist: 67cm (26,4 in), hips: 92 (36 in) and my height is 5 ft. 2 in. The size 2 (26) was a perfect fit, though it felt a bit loose in the waist, and I had to shorten their length (about 1,5 in.)
Price: $50. I bought my pair with a 25% discount.
The outer seams are just perfectly clean and neat. The zipper doesn’t get stuck or pop open.
The inner seams, however, are way worse, which I didn’t expect from the brand.
There are raw edges and threads that stick out. Luckily, they cause no discomfort and the seams don’t pop open.
The sides seams are okay, with overlock stitches.
The inner side is a nightmare, though.
This is this very fringe, and it’s pretty long:
The pockets are just for show, they are too tiny to put anything in. The back pockets are bigger, but I don’t need them.
I like how these jeans look on me. They make me appear skinnier. They’re really tight, even in the knee area.
They don’t wrinkle or twist.
I like the backside view.
I don’t know how long they will last, but I’ve been wearing them for a few months, and they haven’t lost their shape yet. The color doesn’t change after washing, plus the jeans do not color other stuff.
Totally recommended.
