Hey there!
Organic products are extremely popular now, so I’ve decided to give it a shot too, beginning from Avalon Organics Biotin B-Complex Therapy Thickening Shampoo.
After reading some positive and enthusiastic reviews about the product, I thought that it would change my life for good also
My hair: natural, sometimes oily, long, dry ends.
The packaging looks presentable and the color of the bottle is nice!
The manufacturer promises everything I need, i.e. energized scalp and thicker, fuller hair. In addition, you can find beneficial organic ingredients here!
Scent: It’s like a love potion, smells of some herbs really well!
The texture is liquid and watery.
As soon as I started washing my hair, I was so disappointed! The shampoo flows so fast, that it slips through my fingers! That is happening due to the watery consistency.
Besides, it lathers badly. As a consequence, it doesn’t go a long way.
Many of you might say that it’s a good thing, because organic shampoos don’t lather into a rich foam! I’m bound to say that Avalon ingredients are far from being friendly, ‘cause you can find coco-sulfate at the top of the list!
Although, it’s not the only drawback here. The shampoo rinses off quite well, but my hair was not clean after using!
It felt greasy and unwashed, as if I’d washed it with water only!
More than that, my hair tangled. It was hard to do anything about it without a hair balsam or a mask!
However, I didn’t give up and continued using the shampoo, as I had some other organic shampoos earlier and knew what it was. When my hair was dry, I was disappointed even more. It was tangled, static and dull!
I didn’t give up on the product again, because I thought it would get better in time. I used the bottle up, but my hair condition got only worse!
Firstly, the roots were greasy by the end of the day and dry ends stuck every which way and required moisture!
Secondly, my scalp became itchy, plus dandruff appeared.
Thirdly, I got the worst static! My hair got knotty and started falling out.
However, the most vexing thing is that I thought there’s something wrong with my hair, as so many users can't lie.
To sum up, I’d like to state that people are all different and the hair is different, so you can find a suitable shampoo only via trial and error!
