Hello everyone!
I’m gonna tell you about another TIGI product. I’ve been buying reconstructive Catwalk Headshot product-line for 3 months now, but then I sent it to my parents, as it haven’t reached the desired effect. Besides, 750 ml is too much. However, I didn’t give up on this brand, I just decided that I have to move on and find something else. I returned to Indola for some time, because it proved to be good and comfortable for me, but then I started experimenting as always. This winter I thought that I want to try TIGI again, but not Catwalk anymore. Last time I bought the best reconstructive products of its line, which turned out to be very ordinary so I didn’t want to use its common nourishing products. I became interested in Urban Antidotes Re-Energize, which is meant to combat environmental conditions and moisturize the hair.
About Urban Antidotes Re-Energize:
A couple of years ago I read about the meaning for these shampoos. It said that it’s designed for urban dwellers that live in bad environmental conditions, which have an impact on hair and health in general.
There are 3 products in the family.
“1 level” products in green bottles, just the same one that I have - it is meant for people with normal hair, who live in areas that are environmentally friendly.
“2 level” shampoo ( blue bottles) are for people living in worse environmental conditions.
“3 level” shampoo in red bottles is designed for those with lifeless hair in heavily-populated cities with bustling urban environments.
Surely, one shouldn’t take these levels literally. In other words the green shampoo is for light, blue is in the middle and red is for strong hydration and damaged hair.
According to this classification I need the red bottle, as my hair has gone 4 shades lighter and it’s damaged. I was sold but while I was thinking, I saw the green one for a bargain price, so I bought it and don’t regret it.
Design:
The bottles contains 750 ml of the product. There are no stickers on them, all the inscriptions are printed right on the bottles themselves. The bottle doesn’t soak and lose its form. The press cap closes tightly and doesn’t flow. The scent is awesome! It’s smells like apple, very fresh and spring. The thick texture reminds me of conditioner.
About the use:
The shampoo covers the hair very softly and it leathers in a very rich foam. The hands glide easily on hair. After using this shampoo, the hair becomes manageable and smooth. It has silicon in its ingredients, thus it fills the gaps on the scalp, but doesn’t weigh the hair down. What is more important the hair stays clean for a quite a long period.
Volume: 750 ml
Country:UK
To sum up, I’d like to tell you that I really like this shampoo. It made up for the the previous Catwalk Headshot, which wasn’t that great.
I’m happy with this “1 level” shampoo designed for people with normal hair.
I recommend it, as a little goes a long way, it keeps its promises and the apple fragrance is just awesome.
I hope you find my review helpful!
