Some years ago I decided to buy a multi-tool. Right away, I was impressed with the selection of brands and different forms of them. So, I had to think of the criteria which my tool should fulfill. First of all, I needed a reliable buddy. I didn’t want it to break down the in the middle of a process. Secondly, I needed a set of irreplaceable tools for me, like: a knife, a file, an interchangeable screwdriver, pliers, a small saw and scissors.
After reading through a pile of reviews I decided to buy one of the Leatherman Wave multi-tools. At the same time, I also bought a punch and chisel set for a screwdriver.
It’s been 4 years already since I bought this multi-tool and I can judge the quality of the product to the fullest.
Nothing hangs loose, the knife is still straight and everything works as it meant to work. I use it rather often, for example in my mother’s summer cottage, where there’s nowhere to find a good tool.
I also use this multi-tool at home, when I’m feeling too lazy to take out my huge instrument box and look through all the tools there.
I guess this multi-tool can also be handy for traveling, camping and even in the car.
