It’s not a secret that a good brush guarantees great results in applying makeup.
I can prove it myself. It’s much better and easier to work with a good-quality brush, than with a brush that breaks up in your hands. I know Real Techniques brushes for quite a while already. Some of them are more than 5 years old and they are still my favorite ones.
The absolute advantage of these brushes is that they are made of safe and damage-proof materials.
But today I want to draw your attention to one of their brushes, which is ideal for liquid and creamy textures. I think that even and beautiful skin tone is half of the successful makeup.
The Stippling Brush is duo-fiber. Such brushes usually apply very thin layer of foundation, they are suitable for young skin as well as for aging skin. But not only the bristle plays a part in convenience of the brush…
Let’s start with packaging:
The brush is sold in a plastic box. I should say that it’s quite good and safe as it protects the brush from damages before you buy it.
On the box there is information about what it’s made of, description, manufacturer, importer and the weight of the brush itself. Since the brand was created by two sisters, who are makeup artists and bloggers, you will also find links to their YouTube channel, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+.
So, for those who haven’t heard anything about the brushes, I advise to visit Chapman sisters profiles and find out how to use this or that brush.
By the way, brushes with pink handles are final in make-up. In this line, the brushes can be used for dry textures as well as creamy ones.
The handle lets the brush stay firmly in your hands and not to slip out of them while working.
The brush also has a flat basement, for you to put it up on the table for the bristle to stay clean and not to touch the countertop of the table.
The brush has an aluminium handle which automatically makes it much lighter. I also want to draw your attention that aluminium wasn’t chosen by chance. Apart from steel, aluminium is corrosion resistant. That means that the brush will last for a very long time.
Hair is made of taklon, synthetic fiber that resembles natural hair.
Such brush will easily take dry and liquid textures. This kind of bristle has many advantages:
+It’s hygienic. Taklon doesn't have tiny flakes as natural hair, so it’ll be easier to wash it.
+It can be washed and cleaned after each use, as the bristle is marked as wearproof
+It functional as it works well with dry and creamy textures
+It’s extremely soft. It doesn’t feel rough while working with it.
+It dries very quickly compared with natural bristle
+It’s hypoallergenic. Many people are allergic to some animals, so such brushes made of taklon will be absolutely safe, even for everyday makeup.
+It’s economical. Unlike natural bristle, taklon doesn’t absorb much product.
Technical characteristics:
The stuffing of the brush is of middle thickness. It means that it blends the product in greatly and it’s easy to wash the brush.
Duo-fiber brush is ideal for uneven skin with enlarged pores, for aging skin and for skin with peeling off parts. Such brushes polish the surface of the skin and apply the product in a very light and thin layer.
The length of the bristle is also very important. Stippling Brush has it of 3 cm, if the bristle is longer or shorter, the brush will give out absolutely different result.
I've been using Real Techniques brushes for a really long time and there wasn’t any bristle to fall out. Despite the fact that I use them not only for natural makeup, but also to apply face painting and long-lasting well-pigmented textures.
In conclusion I want to say that the brush does it’s job very well. Good quality, wearproof bristle and the most important that it's animal cruelty free!
I do recommend it!
