The full name of this lipstick is: Burberry Soft Satin Lipstick, #28 Devon Sunset. The product has a peachy shade, there’s also some orange color, as well as pink and a tad of beige nude wash of color. The color in the bullet looks absolutely different than on my lips, as it gives a brighter and darker finish. As for the finish, I deem it’s satin though it doesn’t give any nourishment to my lips. At the same time there’s no drying out sensations either. Unfortunately this lippie will accentuate all the flakey bits that you have on your lips. The product doesn’t settle into my lip fine lines, but they aren’t deep on my lips. The product can boast with very good quality as the lipstick doesn’t bleed, feather or budge with a white film inside of my lips.
The staying power is pretty impressive. It stays put for 3 or 4 hours and after that the lipstick starts fading and I always have a desire to reapply it. Yet at the same time I can assure you that it doesn’t leave any dry sensations on my lips. The scent of the product leaves much to be desired, it’s just a usual lipstick scent, I guess they could have made it better and more pleasant. But for the color it shows on my lips, which I was looking for so long, I’m ready to forgive all that naughtiness it has. It would be best of all to apply this lipstick over your hydrated and exfoliated lips without dead, flakey or dry skin bits.
The package of the lipstick looks posh. The metallized tube, right angles and checkered pattern are branded signs of the Burberry brand. It has magnets inside so the top cap won’t pop open. On the bullet itself there’s the Burberry branded engraving which looks super stylish!
