Line Smoothing Concealer from Clinique is a multi-purpose product that can be used both for under eyes and for disguising blemishes.
The shade 03 Moderately Fair suits my fair skin perfectly. Moreover, it adjusts my skin tone when applying.
Sometimes it looks like it has a red undertone on me, but it’s probably because I use it with a daytime cream.
I use it rarely under my eyes. The concealer has a thick texture and absorbs quickly, so it’s hard to distribute evenly.
In my opinion, it tightens my under eye area a little bit and feels very thick on my thin skin there, which is bad for me.
It doesn’t conceal my fine lines, but on the contrary, emphasizes them a little bit. However, it’s visible only from a short distance.
On the plus side, this concealer visually highlights my skin, so that it glows from within due to glistening particles. Therefore my eyes look refreshed.
On the other hand, this product has great coverage due to its thick texture. It helps conceal my occasional pimples and acne spots, which are usually very noticeable on my fair skin.
I apply just a small amount, wait a few seconds and blend out the contour. Thus I can cover up breakouts, redness and small pimples. It won’t help so well against bigger problems like red pimples.
The wear time is medium on my combination skin. It applies perfectly under the La Roche-Posay powder. It doesn’t crease and wears a few hours on me.
I rarely use it along with a foundation, because foundations usually have good coverage by themselves. However, I sometimes apply it with dots if necessary.
The product lasts a while. I’ve been using this tube regularly for more than a year and there is still half of it left.
