The distinctive feature of the collection is that the design of the brightly colored packages was created by the Finnish designer Marimekko.
The aim of the Marimekko design house was to give people the opportunity to express themselves and make their everyday life more enjoyable with the help of the bright prints and colors of the new design of the products.

The Pop Splash lip gloss is different from the other glosses in the collection because it has a better formula. The products aren’t sticky and they don’t feather on the lips at all. They also never crease with a white film on the inside out of my mouth. At the same time these lip glosses offer a better wear time and they are absolutely comfortable on my lips. The products disappear very delicately and I really don't mind having to re-apply them during the day.
These products aren’t actually only beautiful lip glosses. For me they are also very good and effective lip balms, since they have a lot of nourishing and hydrating components, like watermelon and many others which are no way less useful.
These lip glosses are very easy and quick to apply thanks to the good shape of the applicator and its optimal size. It’s such a pleasure to use them. They are absolutely fuss-free.
All my three shades have natural colors and lightweight formula.
The textures are weightless and semi-sheer. The coverage seems to be close to average. At the same time the products always provide my lips with a pretty detectable pigment.
# 12 Rosewater Pop- This color is a coral-based crimson shade with a lot of small shimmer bits which make my lips look fuller and pouty.
I like this color most of all. I wear it almost every day because it beautifully refreshes my look and in general it looks very harmonious with the minimum of the cosmetics on.
It doesn’t show off blemishes like flaking for instance. On the contrary, the lip gloss always evens out my lips relief and creates a smooth coverage for a natural-looking makeup. It feels comfy over my lips and I really appreciate that mild hydration it gives to my lips throughout the day.
The shimmer bits of this very shade are super small and they can even be difficult to make out. But they make the finish of the product look glossy! It looks so amazing!
# 17 Spritz Pop - it’s a gentle color of an anthesis lilac which is cool-toned and shimmer-less. At first this color seemed to be the most finicky in comparison with other two, but later I understood that if I apply it with a thin coat, then the coverage will look very cute and beautiful. The shade on my lips doesn’t look bright, it’s perfect for an office, studies or just for daily wear.
# 18 Pinot Pop - it’s a lavender color with a pink undertone. It has a more detectable and vibrant finish and it looks absolutely glossy and sensual on my lips. I like how dewy my lips look with this color on.
In the photo all the colors were applied with one coat and I can say that even one coating already looks rather thick.
I have a lip tattoo, this is why all the color might look a tad darker than they actually are.
