Hello everybody!I’m a makeup junkie, I’ve already tried a small mountain of different lip glosses and lipsticks. It’s such a rare occasion when I repurchase. I just can’t. There are so many other different products waiting for me.
And here, one day I saw a new product from Dior, well it seemed so. But it was still that very legendary Lip Maximizer.
Dior Addict Lip Maximizer, now a must-have for makeup artists, is the 1st Dior backstage lip plumping gloss for smooth, hydrated lips and an instant, long-lasting plump effect.
I’ve never had anything like this before. A long time ago, I used to have the Lip Polish Smoothing Lacquer from Dior, which I remember because of its texture, nice quality, and a funny swirling applicator. But this is a review of another product, so, let’s get started.
Actually, earlier before, there was Dior Lip Maximizer Collagen Active, which had only 2 shades in the collection: 001 light and pink color and 002 which was beige.
They were super hyped and always sold out. That’s why I bought that Lip Polish, by the way. I wanted to buy the Lip Maximizer but it was out of stock.
Now, the collection is renewed and currently, there are 7 shades available, so everyone will find a match. I opted for the shade 006, Berry. It looks like a juicy vibrant dark-cherry shade in the tube but on my lips it’s semi-sheer.
By the way, the product looks absolutely the same as from the previous collection - a see-through tube, doe-foot applicator, which is so convenient to work with.
I can feel that mint in the ingredients when I apply the formula on my lips. For another 30 minutes, my lips are always cool and tingling a little.
By the way, I could have never thought that this cooling sensation can really be so long-lasting. Not actually the most pleasant thing that I’ve experienced when it’s frosty outside. I hope that in the summer, it’ll feel better.
The coverage looks glossy and pink, yet my natural lip pigment is concealed.
The product is nice to apply and distribute. The staying power isn’t bad for a lip gloss - 2 hours. It won’t live through a bite or a meal.
Price - $34
