Hello everyone!
Now I finally have time to write about the Estee Lauder Little Black Liner that I’ve been using since last summer. After the previous eyeliner ran low, I decided to try something new.
After I called my sister, I decided to purchase the liner she had been using.
She convinced me that it was really good stuff and was convenient to use. Also, she said it didn’t dry out like many other felt-tip liners at all. She had been using it for 2 years and it was her second liner of the brand.
According to her, the liner suffices for 7 or even 8 months when used daily. So, I ordered it.
Actually I’ve been using the Estee Lauder products for quite some time now. I find their Double Wear Concealer unparalleled and use it for 5 years now. I haven’t found anything better yet. Moreover, I love their Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation. It’s long-wearing and covers up all blemishes without clogging the pores of my skin.
Their black kajal eyeliner stays put and doesn’t go anywhere from my waterline, so the quality of their makeup is definitely on fleek.
About the outer appearance:
The product comes in a paper package typical for Estee Lauder. On one end, the tip is thin and perfect for drawing precise and ultra-fine lines. On the other end, it has a flat marker tip. The manufacturer also calls it a flat wedge tip, which means that it’s thin at the end and wide at the sides.
The wedge tip is good for drawing the contour and the classic line. The line is wider in this case.
About the use:
This eyeliner requires some skills, but you can get the hang of it quickly. Recently I realized that I like the liquid options with a soft felt-tip more than markers.
Their texture is easier to work with for me. Yeah, I will draw the lines with any tool eventually. The only difference is how quickly I’ll manage to do this.
I remember that it was very easy for me to use markers before I joined the makeup course. But then I learnt how to deal with liquid liners and the markers took a back seat.
However, a bad workman always blames his tools, they say, right? Anyway it requires a little technique adjustment.
In terms of the staying power, the liner is very cool and you can definitely rely on it. It sticks around and survives any event or anything else.
I often put makeup on with the Estee Lauder products. I have their foundation, liner and concealer and all these products never let me down.
You can even wash your face with water without rubbing and your makeup stays put.
About the performance:
I’ve been using the thin tip more frequently and it almost dried out within 6 months, but the wedge tip is a hard one. It has a watery texture that doesn’t dry out at all.
Color: Black
Volume: 0.9 g
To sum up I’d like to say that this eyeliner is very quality and enduring. It’s a really good option for felt-tip marker fans. It’s way pricier than drugstore liners, but it will last you way longer, so I highly recommend it!
At the moment I’m looking for a good liquid eyeliner, as the one I had ran low. I love drawing the tail with such liners.
Let me know if you know a decent liquid liner with a felt tip. I appreciate that!
I hope I was helpful for you! Happy shopping!
