Hello, dear readers of my review! Today, I’d like to speak about the new product from Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lip Volumizer.
The product appeared in the market at the beginning of the summer and I was first of all hooked on the gorgeous design of it.
The collection offers 3 new products - Pure Color Envy Color Replenish Lip Balm, Lip Repair Portion and Lip Volumizer.
For me, I opted for the Lip Volumizer.

I have a liquid lipstick from Pure Color Envy collection and I’m totally obsessed with its quality, so I was very happy to try out the new product from them. Moreover, the casing of this collection is just awesome!
💕Design
Like many other products from the Pure Color Envy collection, this Lip Volumizer was packed with a dark blue paper box.
But, unlike the dark blue casings of the liquid matte lipsticks, this volumizer offers a gentle pink tube with the branded logo. It’s dope. It was the reason I was attracted to this new collection of lip products. I want to have it in my stash for its outer look and casing already! 
It doesn’t have any see-through compartments which would show the shade of the product inside.
The top cap is screw-on and it also has a featured applicator-sponge. It’s soft, furry with a spoony hollow in the middle.
It takes out the right amount of the product to apply on my lips.
The wiper is excellent and it doesn’t let the undesired formula come out.
The upper part of the casing has the golden branded logo. The bottom has a sticker with the name:
💕Shade
The product was released in one and only shade which is universal semi-sheer gentle pink. It doesn’t cover my lips with any color but only perfects my natural lip pigments.
The product stains the nozzle of the tube with a neon-pink color (you can have a look at it in the pictures above) but when I apply it on my lips, it turns almost transparent with a barely detectable pink hue which won’t be so obvious on my lips.
As for the comparable products, I can list the Maximizer from Dior, Plumper from Lancome. As for the more affordable ones, a lip gloss from L’Oreal and another one from KIKO (that was released as a part of the limited collection, so I doubt that you will be able to find it available now) will fit the bill.
I love such products (I guess you got it from the previous picture 
) because they’re universal and trouble-less. They can be applied on the go and they never require precise lip lining because of the semi-sheer formulas. Yet still, they always do take care of my lips and refresh well. The finishes are neat but great.
💕Product characteristics
The Lip Maximizer from Estee Lauder has a pretty minty smell. It’s less sweet than of the Dior Maximizer but in general, such products usually offer a minty aroma.
The texture is gel, very pleasant to the touch and not tacky at all. I don’t detect it on my lips. I don’t welcome heavy and thick lip glosses which I can’t forget about after application because they always feel too heavy up till the moment I remove them. Even when I wear regular lipsticks, I always go for a thin layer as possible, providing the maximum of comfort.
The consistency is typical for a lip gloss. Nothing surprising here.
The product applies and distributes evenly and doesn’t crease or settle in my lip fine lines. So, you won’t have to smooth it out when you apply it or touch-up during the day. For me, that’s super convenient. I just apply it and never bother about it anymore.
When applying, I can feel that minty aroma and it cools my lips too.
But, in comparison with the Maximizer, here the cooling effect is much milder and quickly to fade away.
After application, I don’t feel that aroma at all, so we can take it as an unscented product.
The finish is glossy, dewy but the gloss is still very delicate. It doesn’t look like a greasy lip gloss, as though I ate some fatty pancakes. 
Thanks to the glossy finish, my lips look plumper and poutier. Usually, matte lipsticks define lip crevices, but here the formula smoothes them out, minimizing their appearance.
The staying power is regular for such a product, about 4 hours. After that, you can touch-up, if you need and pack the previous layer.
The product doesn’t feather or crease with a white film on my inner lip. In fact, its performance is great and the finish is beautiful.
It isn’t transfer-proof, which is typical for lip glosses.
If you want to remove it before having a meal, you won’t have to use any special removers. You’ll get by with a paper tissue with ease. I love that concept - easy to apply, easy to remove.
Long-lasting lipsticks are great but they’re so tough to remove, even with makeup removers.
My lips with this product feel comfortable during the day, I can feel some moisture and soothing.
I’m not sure it would be a good choice for winter. After all, its gel texture might be white in the frost. Besides, that cooling sensation isn’t the best idea for the winter. But as for the warm season, it’s awesome! Now it’s summer and I keep on using it with such pleasure and never regret buying it!
