I’d like to share my impressions with the Givenchy Enhancing Balm:
The jar is compact and travel-friendly. It won’t take up much room in the pockets of your purse. The top twists off without fuss and effortlessly. It won’t pop open just like that.
The jar is made of a half-transparent tinted plastic. The balm itself comes in a white built-in pot. The top has the name of the brand on it.
The balm is light-pink and has a nice, non obtrusive and warm scent. It smells like roses.
The texture is melting and just a tad sticky. In melts away on my fingers and lips right away
After application it feels so nice and comfortable. In a nutshell - the feel is amazing.
It gives just a slight hint of color to my skin that glows in the sun, as expected.
I’d like to notice that after a while the shade gets colder. It adapts to my skin tone and makes my natural color a little brighter and deeper.
Now let’s move on the product in action. My bare lips:
My lips with a lip balm:
It wears around 3-4 hours on me. In about an hour the glow becomes more delicate and the stickiness disappears, although the shade stays put. The color is not in-your-face and I use it in subtle makeups when I’m not in a mood to play around with various shades or when I just want to refresh my look by adding a slight hue to my lips and go out and enjoy sunny weather or whatever weather it is
It moisturizes my lips a little bit, but don’t expect any miracles to happen. It’s just an ordinary moisturizing lipstick.
However, I’d like to note that this product is overpriced, even though it’s nice to use. You can find some decent options for a lower price.
This balm is good, but it’s nothing special, so I give it 4 stars.
Have a good day!
