A powder for $190? My review 6 months after purchasing.
To celebrate the new 2019 year, Guerlain released their limited edition setting powder Ladies In All Climates which was also in honor of 190th anniversary of the brand. The powder can be still found in many e-shops now.
I’ve been using it for more than 6 months.
The box is regular for Guerlain. It’s cardboard and black.

The powder is placed in a beautiful casing with a top cap. It has the branded engraving in gold letters. So vintage. The back of it is edged with a golden line too. Thanks to the compact size, the powder is ergonomic in my hand. Besides, its handy mirror inside makes it a permanent resident of my purse. I always use it for touch-ups.

The powder is said to be translucent and mattifying. Yet at the same time, it’s illuminating and smooth.
That’s so contradictory, isn’t it?However, I can see those results in one - matte and luminous finish. Honestly, this powder highly reminds me of the Meteorites. Even the smell is identical. But here it isn’t so chasing.
I don’t love that smell and it’s really great it doesn’t linger to my face.
The results of pore and fine lines smoothing were detected but it isn’t so obvious anyway. I don’t know how to show you the translucent powder at its best on my face.

Also, you can see the Hypnose mascara on my lashes from Lancome which I loath from the very first use.

In fact, I’m very pleased with my purchase. The price is huge but the product is absolutely worth it.
I adore beautiful compacts and honestly, sometimes I’m ready to buy a makeup item just because of the way it’s designed and looks.
However, Guerlain provides us with a great combo - fantastic design and a good powder.
