The lipstick comes in a heavy golden casing. It appears stylish. The top cap has the branded “J” letter on it.

The top and the casing have magnets, so the product clicks when it closes.
It works much better than the Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipsticks.
When I close the Jane Iredale lippie I can hear a loud click.
The weight of the product is standard: 3.4g. By the way, Estee Lauder has 3.5.
Choosing the shade for me, I looked through the swatches on the official site and opted for a neutral-nude color which is called Tricia.

And it turned out 100%! This shade is gorgeous and I’m ready to sing it praises forever. It’s perfection for an office job, business meetings, and studies.
The product applies so nicely that it feels buttery on my lips.
It offers a light satin finish which doesn’t dry my lips at all.

The aroma isn’t chasing and they say on the official site that it’s vanilla and blackberry. I can’t say if it’s true but I can make out the vanilla notes there.
The coverage can live through a bite but don’t burden more on it.
It fades delicately and thanks to the nude color, it won’t look patchy or streaking.
One more interesting thing - to gain this dark nut saturated shade I had to pack it on the swatch. 4 layers. If I don’t pack it on my lips and wear 1 layer, it looks fair.

I want to say that I really like this lipstick.

It’s perfect shade for me performance-wise. I love its aroma, casing, and the ingredients. I can see that at the end of the list there are some ingredients that I don’t know but my lips feel so good with them, that I don’t even bother. Perfection!

- the price tag might be a problem
- also, the issue with swatches. I didn’t have a chance to look at it in life before purchasing.
If I you can neglect all those disadvantages, then I can highly recommend this lippie for purchasing!
