Today I’m continuing my sequel of reviews of liquid lipsticks by Kylie Jenner. Her summer collection has become a hit! As usual I could buy anything for ideal day make-up, but still I opted for the liquid lipsticks.
The first thing I was impressed by was the packaging. It's of beige color, or it would be better to say of nude color while the letters and running down drops are golden. The tubes with lipsticks are matte with a beige top cap. I’m in love with the design of these tubes.
There are 4 lipsticks in a set. The shades can be described like that: beige-nude-pink. I hesitated whether to buy this set or not. I’ve tried so many liquid lipsticks and almost every one turned out to be patchy or uncomfortable or I could end up looking like a dead woman with those shades on my lips. One day on the official site there was a promo when the products were discounted + they gave presents for each order, so I decided to buy this set.
The shades:
1. Naked
This one is the palest color in the set. It doesn’t match my skin color and looks like a mask over my lips. It should be applied the thinnest layer as possible or you'll end up with you lips looking creased and wrinkled as in the photo. I think this color will flatter swarthy girls most of all.
2. Birthday Suit
I can describe it as a pale-orangy color. It resembles the NYX liquid lipstick in the color London. I don’t like it much, it makes my complexion dull and sallow.
3. Commando
Pinky beige color. On my pale skin it looks very beautiful.
4. Bare
And the last but not least is my favorite pale-pink color. It’s that same nude color that doesn’t look too bright or too fair. I’ve been looking for this shade for a very long time among many brands and finally found it!
The only drawback is that with time this lipstick stars fading on the inside of the mouth. But still I like this one a lot.
Overall: Texture-wise all the shades are liquidy with a stunning coverage. This set is definitely worth buying, as everybody will find the perfect nude here. I presume that such sets are the most profitable offers. Don’t miss this bargain and buy one!
