When I was surfing the Internet once, I came across a positive review about this product from Maybelline. I was so excited that I decided to buy it immediately. Plus, I’d been using Baby Lips lip balm for quite a long time and was happy about it.
So, MAYBELLINE Baby Lips lip gloss:
I’m obsessed with lip glosses more than with lipsticks, although the latter wear longer. The lip glosses are easy to use and look pretty on my lips.
After I’ve picked up these lip glosses, I was underwhelmed…
Volume: 5 ml
Use within 2 years after opening.
I’ve found only 4 shades at the store. To tell you the truth, I wanted to grab all 4 of them, but fortunately I bought just TWO shades.
Shade: 05 Wink of Pink
I couldn’t even imagine that this shade had SUCH BIG SHIMMER to it.
The applicator wand is very common and I have no complaints about it. It works fine for an affordable lip gloss.
This shade has disappointed me a lot. It hardly gives any color to my lips, but the shimmer particles were so noticeable on my lips!
They spread out well, but look very CHEAP and AWKWARD on a woman in her 30s.
Shade: 25 Life’s a Peach
The shade looks very GORGEOUS in a tube. The wand is also small, but convenient to use.
Actually, the design of the tube is very pretty!
But the shade
is so bad! No likey! The product is very streaky and sets in my lip lines. Moreover, it doesn’t go well with a tan skin tone. In my opinion, it is only good for fair skinned girls. So, I’m not pleased with the results either.
My impressions:
I’m totally disappointed! I wanted to have quality moisturizing and gorgeous lip glosses, but they appeared to be somewhat childish.
Smell: It smells very nice. The scent reminds me of sweets and berries.
Wear time: Both shades wear no more than an hour on me.
Plus, there is a significant downside:
After application my lips are tingling and somewhat numb for 15 minutes.
When I was young I had this sensation after applying some cheap lip glosses. So, I’m not going to continue using the Maybelline Baby Lips lip gloss.
I gave them to my daughter to use for her dolls. They seem to love it 
All in all, I think that the product is a total flop and I won’t try any other shades.
