I bought this NYX Control Freak in July when it was 35% off at the NYX counter.
And now, 4 months on, I notice that:
the gel has a rather big brush, aka for mascara. For me, it’s nice to style my brows with because I find small brushes difficult to use.

the product doesn’t leave any sticky or clumpy finish behind. Maybe you’ve seen clumps from brows gel from other reviews.

it fans my brow hairs and boosts volume
my brow hairs never look sticky
the gel wipes off my brow powder if I wear it underneath
the setting is good yet not excellent. It is enough for my working day.
Results of use:
For the first 2 months that I was using it, the gel had a really nice setting. But later, it somehow stopped doing that. The thing is that I started to note there’s a smaller and smaller amount of the gel on the brush over time. That results in worse setting obviously. That’s strange, isn’t it? After all, the product offers 9ml and I used to think that amount would be enough to use within a year.
And here’s the second drawback. The packaging isn’t see-through. I mean, I’d like to see and control the amount of it left inside.

One more thing that still deserves your attention is that the list of ingredients is full of unnatural ingredients. No beneficial oils or anything like that.

But that’s kinda obvious if you want to get a good hold or else, the setting will be minimal.
