Hello beauty world! You can’t get enough of highlighters, can you? We all love highlighters!
So, today’s product to review is actually from the Butter collection by the American brand Physicians Formula.
The famous Butter Bronzer by Physicians Formula made the beauty junkies all over the world melt down. I just adore that bronzer because it has such an incredible scent! It so easy to get the tropical atmosphere around with it!
And of course we all know that the brand decided to fill in the “Butter” collection with blushes and HIGHLIGHTERS!
Long-wearing, finely-pressed, cream-to-powder formula has a unique bouncy texture that melts into the skin for the creamiest, most gorgeous highlighted finish.
Sounds intriguing
Price: $10.95
Made in the USA
You can buy it in many drugstores across the country, as well as in Canada.
Weight: 5g
Design: It’s a small round compact of silver color with a pearlescent and iridescent casting. It has a screw-on top lid. In comparison with the Butter Bronzer, here, the compact looks looks less bulky. It’s ergonomic and pleasant to hold in my hands. The screw-on top has palm leaves and a Physicians Formula Butter Highlighter lettering. The first T letter is actually a palm, which is the branded Butter collection logo.
Smell: If you have the Butter Bronzer, then you know that pleasant and unobtrusive coconut aroma, which always makes me inhale it again and again. Unlike the bronzer, this highlight is scented differently: the smell here is strong, fragranced and has some pineapple and pina colada sweet notes. The highlighter emits a strong smell. If you have a sensitive nose, then it’ll be too much for you, maybe. But I take it easily.
Texture: Oh my God, the texture is fantastic! I’m obsessed with it. When I touch the product with my fingers, I can clearly feel the lightweight creamy formula, which turns powder once it touches my skin.
It knocks my socks off! Soft, lightweight and finely-pressed little wave-designed texture!
Packed with nutrient ingredients from the Amazon – Murumuru Butter, Cupuacu Butter and Tucuma Butter.
Shade: Champagne. It’s a golden color that shines champagne, but still it’s more golden to me. All in all, there are 5 shades in the collection, with a selection from the fair to the darker ones.
Application: the highlighter applies fantastic over my skin. It offers easy blending and it barely shows my skin texture, leaving a beautiful glowy finish with a bunch of shiny bits (not glitter!) behind. I prefer the Real Techniques brush for this highlighter application.

Longevity: If you don’t rub your skin, then the product will stay on the whole day! You can build the formula up and vary the intensity from light and glowy to shiny and sparkling.

Spending: it won’t be used up, even if you use it everyday for a year. The weight of the product is huge and all that is for an affordable sum of money.
Overall: This Butter Highlighter is definitely among my faves! When I want to make my skin a little bit more glowy, yet not glittery, I always use this one. It shines and glows naturally on my skin. And the formula is as soft as silk! It’ll be such a pleasure for me to try out some other shades from the collection!
Thanks for your attention! Have a nice day!
