I’ve heard a lot about cream blushes, but the attitude towards them was controversial. I got used to the regular powder blush, so I didn’t know that cream blushes were convenient, compact and at the same time incredibly soft.
Well, I got this palette for testing.
All of the Sleek palettes are designed in the same style. It’s a rectangular matte palette with the enamel title - Sleek MakeUP.
It’s a compact with mirror and no brush, although there’s no need for it.
On the back side of the palette you can find information about the shades. It’s very strange actually, it says that there are 2 matte shades and one shimmer shade, but I can clearly see shimmer in two shades.
There’s no scent.
The texture is creamy and really soft. It allows you to apply the blush with your fingers which is very comfortable. Every shade is highly pigmented, but it’s hard to overdo it.
It’s possible to vary the blush pigmentation on your own, blend out the excess of the shades and add a little bit more, if you need to. It’s easy to emphasize your cheeks or make your makeup softer. The finish is very natural. The blush feels even on your cheeks, though it doesn’t look like a creamy spot. The shimmer is also delicate and hardly noticeable.
It’s startlingly long-lasting. I can wear it for about 7 hours without any foundation, but then the color fades.
Let’s look at the shades.
OC: It’s a beautiful coral pink shade with a silver shimmer. I don’t like that it doesn’t suit my skin tone, but I think, it’ll look awesome on a tanned skin!
The Surf. It’s a gorgeous peachy pink shade with a hint of golden shimmer which can be used as a highlighter as well. It’s my favorite shade, as it makes my face look so fresh. I think, they made a mistake on the sticker, ‘cause it’s obvious that there are two shimmer shades in the palette, not one, like it says on the label.
Newport Peach. The coral-orange shade.I definitely recommend this long-lasting palette
. The creamy texture is comfortable to use and the pigmentation is really good.
