I have finally tried the last pot from THE BODY SHOP. I’d like to review the COCONUT Body Butter today.
I have 4 body butters of this brand actually: ARGAN, STRAWBERRY, GRAPEFRUIT and COCONUT.
1. I’m obsessed with the GENERAL APPEARANCE of all THE BODY SHOP butter pots. They look so nice on the shelf of my bathroom.
The product comes with no seal or a protective film.
2. VOLUME: 200 ml
3. SHELF LIFE: 3 years or 12 months after opening.
4. SMELL, COLOR AND TEXTURE: The smell is awesome! It’s so natural and not off-putting. It smells like coconut and a traditional hand cream. The scent is so gentle and ‘warm’...
The color reminds me of evaporated milk.
The consistency is thick like the Argan version. It spreads out on my skin with ease. It freezes in the fridge, but melts away very quickly when it comes into contact with my hands.

Apply to your clean body after a shower. Easy-breezy. It absorbs quite quickly, so you can use it after a morning shower safely.

nice scent that lingers on my body for a while and lasts quite long on my clothes. My younger daughter is raving about this product and applies it to her hands over and over again
absorbs well
easy to apply
doesn’t leave any sticky or greasy residue
nourishes my skin well, although I loved the Argan butter better, as it leaves my skin also moisturized
replaces hand and foot creams easily. My elbows are happy with this product too. However, Argan butter is still better in this respect.
10. --- The cons of THE COCONUT body butter ---
no seal on the pot
not enough moisture
STORAGE CONDITIONS: I keep the butter in my bathroom, as I use it very frequently along with the Argan body butter when it’s cold outside.
WHERE TO BUY: The official THE BODY SHOP store or online shop.
PRICE: around $20
RECOMMEND? Yes, it’s a nice body butter for the winter. In summer I prefer something with a lighter texture, for instance STRAWBERRY body butter.
REPURCHASE? Yes, probably next winter!
I would’ve given this product 5 stars with a minus, if comparing this butter to a better version with Argan. Other than that, the coconut butter is amazing!

ARGAN butter is no doubt THE MOST EFFECTIVE PRODUCT FOR THE WINTER among all the butters of the brand I’ve tried. It performs simply perfectly!
