This is the updated legendary eye cream from Caudalie, which improved and optimized its formula as well as the design.
Premier Cru Eye Cream from Caudalie has a screaming “ultimate anti-aging” name.
It’s so difficult to resist and pass by it when you’re already in your 30s.
They say that first impressions are most lasting for a reason. Look at this product, it really looks royal - such a heavy glass rose gold tube, metallic top cap with the brand’s name engraved.
I appreciate the beauty of the vinous red lettering which presents the name here. The pump is also posh. All in all, I can see the hard work of Caudalie designers behind all that luxury.
The size of the product is 15ml, which is traditional for an eye cream.
As for the cream itself, I can say that it’s rather thick and a tad beige color-wise.
Such texture is perfection to tackle signs of aging, like fine lines and wrinkles as it applies with a thick layer, yet not like a mask.
By the way, such texture is more preferable for a fall/winter season, you know, as it definitely takes care of a thin under eye skin and also protects it from harmful impacts of the environment, like strong winds and low temperatures.
You’ll have to give the product about 10 minutes to soak in, and after that, you can start applying your makeup. The formula sinks in fully, leaving no clumps or residue. Again, you have to be careful so as not to apply too much. For instance, for me, one pump press is enough for two eyes. If I apply more, I know that the product won’t sink in to the fullest and the leftovers will stay on the surface of my skin.
By the way, the box with the product offers a guidance flyer of how to apply the product right so as not to stretch the skin and what lines to follow. Also, they gave me super advice! According to them, the leftovers of the cream can be applied over lips! It’s such a working lifehack.
The product doesn’t have any cosmetic perfume agents and it’s silicone-free. That means that it suits sensitive eyes.
After some time of use, I noticed that my dark circles have become less visible and in general I can see that my eyes are beaming! So, this babe is among my fall favorites from now on!
