Recently, I really fell for the Californian organic brand Petal Fresh. I’ve already tried their hand and body lotion, a shampoo and a conditioner. I also liked their shower gel.
This butter jar is already the second that I’ve tried. The first was with Hibiscus and Papaya aromas.
It’s gorgeous and I want a variety, so this time, I bought the coconut and pomegranate and grapefruit smells. The main feature of the product is that it isn’t a butter that we’re used to seeing. It isn’t greasy or oily at all. I’d even say that it’s a cream or a mousse.
The L’Occitane Almond oil is a real oil which stains my bedding and clothes afterwards.
Here, we can see a more lightweight texture that I can’t even describe. The brand is organic and vegan-friendly, so the ingredients are the best.
As far as we started talking about the ingredients, here’s the list:
Aqua (water), isopropyl myristate (derived from coconut oil), glycerin (derived from coconut oil), carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, *olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, glyceryl stearate SE (derived from vegetable oil), prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, cetyl alcohol (derived from coconut oil), stearic acid (derived from coconut oil), stearyl alcohol (derived from coconut oil), *butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter extract, polysorbate 60 (derived from coconut oil), *punica granatum (pomegranate) extract, *citrus grandis (grapefruit) seed extract, *cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, *argania spinosa (argan) kernel oil, sodium hydroxide, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), *mentha piperita (peppermint) leaf extract, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, panthenol (vitamin B5), borago officinalis (borage) seed oil, *aloe barbadensis (aloe vera) leaf juice, *citrus limon (lemon) fruit extract, *arnica montana (arnica) flower extract, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) leaf oil, ethylhexylglycerin (derived from vegetable oil), dehydroacetic acid (derived from cane sugar).
**Fragrance
*Certified organic ingredients
**Natural fragrance with essential oils.
Olive oil is listed fifth. I can also see shea butter, argan oil, almond, and vitamin E. It’s obvious that the formula is fortified with a great deal of extracts, including aloe, mint, coconut, tea tree.
Here’s the consistency:
Here I gently pat it into my skin. It feels like it was immediately devoured - no oily sheen or greasy finish.
The brand is produced in the USA. It’s animal cruelty-free and organic. =)
I keep on using their products and there hasn’t been an item that I hadn't liked (Thank God).
You’ll get a jar of this magic airy texture for $6.99. It’s enough to use within several months, given that in winter I was cuddling myself with it all over.
Oh, Gosh, I almost forgot to mention the aroma of the product. It rocks my socks off. It’s so vibrant yet not overpowering at the same time. I don’t know how they do it.
Their butter has become my fave not the least because of its smell, I assure you.
In a word, the line offers quite a selection of aromas, so if you’re not into a coconut aroma, opt for the fruity ones. I’ve tried this pomegranate and grapefruit and hibiscus and papaya. Both really deserve your attention!
