Hello everybody!
Since childhood, my hands have been dry. Besides, I do my chores about the house without gloves, so a good hand cream is not only a treat for me but a real essential must-have.
I’ve already tried a small pile of them and currently, I stopped on one - Udderly Smooth.
I first bought it because I needed to fill in my cart for free delivery.
I was attracted by this tube and the animal print on it. As well as with its odd naming - Udderly smooth. Cows?
Initially, the brand was famous because it produced their moisturizers for dairy cow udder. After that it turned into a brand with products for human beings.
Udderly Smooth has been manufactured for 40 years by three generations of an Ohio family for your family. It was originally developed by a pharmacist for use on dairy cows (udders) during extreme weather conditions, but it was soon discovered that its rich moisturizing ingredients also helped to heal extremely dry, chapped and cracked human skin. Soon, Udderly Smooth made the transition from barnyard to beauty counters and homes across America. Today, you use it on dry skin, feet, as a facial moisturizer or part of diabetes or oncology skin care.
For the first time, I bought it with the original formula and packaging of 114g for $3.
And recently I visited a local Dollar Tree and found this babe with 57g for $1. Naturally, I bought a bundle at once for home, job, handbag, etc.
The only difference between the small size from the full is in the original formula. Here it’s got glycerin in it.
So, let’s have a thorough look at this moisturizer.
✅ Packaging. It’s a standard soft tube with cow spots all over it.
✅ Brief product info, the list of ingredients and how to use guide are on the back of it.
If you dread mineral oil in the ingredients, then it’s better to toss this product. For me, the most important thing is that it works.
✅ The aroma is pleasant and light. It disappears from my skin right after the application. If you are "scent"-sitive, then the Udderly Smooth hand cream is the best option for you.
✅ The consistency is somehow weird. It appears great but at the same time runny and with an infusion.
But once I spread the cream over my hands, it transforms into lightweight milk and soaks in immediately, leaving no oily or sticky finish on my skin.
✅ Results - my skin is really moisturized and soft.
The product is pleasant to use.
Since it soaks in rather quickly, I can be sure that it won’t stain my papers with greasy stains when I’m at work.
My skin gets enough moisture for 3-4 hours. If I don’t spend much time in the water, the moisture lasts longer. But still, it’s better to re-apply it after washing your hands because the formula doesn’t provide any accumulative effect that would last for 24 hours as promised.
In the end, I conclude that Udderly Smooth Hand Cream:
⭕️ is affordable
⭕️ doesn’t leave any sticky or greasy finish behind
⭕️ my skin really feels moisturized with it
⭕️ it’s a good product and not only for the summer but for the winter too
⭕️ the list of ingredients is rather short and good. It doesn’t have any additives that would price the formula much
⭕️ Manufactured in the USA
🚫 There’s only one disadvantage about it, I think. I can hardly ever find it in stock within easy reach. But it has nothing to do with the product’s quality, so never mind.
