Honestly, there is so little to say about the pros of the camera

But I’ve noticed lots of cons instead:

1. Poor retail box: Camera, curved adhesive mount, flat adhesive mount, USB cable.
2. New USB cable: If you have other versions of GoPro, you would have to carry all these cables with you.
3. New battery: It was rated at 1160 mAh, but now It’s 1220 mAh. The difference is insignificant, but other batteries don’t fit this gadget!
4. Waterproof: The plugs are so tight, that it’s almost impossible to open them! The previous waterproof version was better for that matter.
5. Drop-proof: If something breaks, you’ll have to buy a new camera. With other models you can simply change the glass or housing.
6. Display: I can’t use it, as it won’t work! It did function at the store under perfect conditions, but it doesn’t work outside. You can control the settings only through this display, which doesn’t work.
7. Mounting buckle: Bad quality.
8. Voice control: Functions only under perfect conditions as well. Therefore you have to buy a specific wrist strap mount.
9. Video stabilization: Do you know how it works? It just cuts your video up to 10% and stabilizes it. You can carry out the same thing on your computer. However, it’s a helpful function if you don’t actually know how to do it on your computer.
10. The battery dies in an hour and a half.

These flaws may be fixed after upgrade, but they are here at the moment, so...

Pros:

1. Crystal-clear audio and lots of settings, but you have to adjust them manually.
2. Pro-quality photo capture.
3. Linear mode.
4. Editing app. However, users frequently transfer photos to their phones and share them.
5. Battery percentage on the display, which is really convenient.

I would not recommend the GoPro Hero 5 camera when everything I’ve said is factored in. If you have GoPro Hero Black 3 or GoPro Hero Silver 4, there is no use to buy this model! By the way, I think that GoPro Session is the best camera, ever.
