I want to say that I absolutely rave about this mask but I’ll try to calm myself to write a good and objective review about it. The product is clay based and has many advantages, not counting the cleansing effect. It exfoliates and peels the skin, smooths its surface, induces collagen synthesis and minimizes pores. As a result I get clean, soft and glowing skin.

The product promises that the effect will last for three days. I use it once a week and it’s quite enough for me.

Of course the mask isn’t cheap but from time to time they have discounts. The mask was packed in a box two or three times bigger than the mask itself. The jar is heavy, metallic, very beautiful in plastic inside. The jar was sealed. The mask has a dark green color with some pieces of something inside. Later I found out that these were the tea leaves. To tell you the truth I don’t understand why they didn't cut them into smaller pieces as it not very convenient to stick them to my face.

I apply the product in a thin layer, I don’t need a thicker one as the mask works perfectly like this. It tingles very much on my skin, feeling like I had some kind of fire on my face. While applying it I was thinking that I wouldn’t be able to survive this 10 minutes of torture, but within a couple of minutes the fire stopped. It felt like there was something warm on my face but not burning.

At the same time the mask started to dry and it didn’t tighten my skin but somehow, kind of squeezed it. My skin underneath was really pulsating. The feeling was really fiery, I was even afraid to move my eyebrow. In 10 mins the feeling of warm disappeared and the mask dried.

I carefully removed it with circular motions for additional exfoliating effect. But those who have sensitive skin need to be careful and bear in mind that exfoliating parts in the product are big and coarse. You’ll probably need to wash the mask away with no circular movements, as the face is still slightly shocked by the mask.

I removed my mask and was stunned. My skin was red (I’m the person who can barely become red even in sauna or in a frosty weather). So, no mask has ever cause such blood flow to my face. Additionally, my skin was soft and absolutely smooth. At first I was afraid, of course, I thought that my skin’s had an allergy to some ingredient. Red skin for me is a good sign that the next day I’ll have red spots on my face which will peel off for at least two weeks. But in 40 mins the redness disappeared, my skin color became better and has been fresh and beautiful for several days since. No allergic reaction!

Below there are photos of the process.

In the upper left corner it’s my face before the mask, with no makeup on. In the lower photo the face straight after the mask, it looks awful, I know. And in the right photo - my face is an hour later after the mask.

I don’t know if I can say that my skin has been glowing but compared with the before photo, I’m absolutely delighted with the result.

I use it once a week and lately I noticed that my skin has become less oily and as a result I do not need to use as much foundation every day.
