A fragrance of the woodsA woody, highly evocative fragrance: the power of wood, the ruggedness of bark and the soft crackle of undergrowth in the summer. Composed around Vetiver, SYCOMORE leaves a simple, smoky, reassuring trail with a subtle dash of spice.

Sycomore belongs to woody floral musk fragrances. The design of the bottle is plain and unpretentious.
I’d say, this is the fragrance of a wet and mossy forest after rain, when you walk by juniper and the air is full of an amazing aura of lightness. This is the touch of forest fairy tales, the very beginning of twilight, the transition. It’s the time when even a dragon's eyesight is getting worse; it’s time to listen and to trust your perceptions. Light wind brings the aroma of vetiver.
This otherworldly fragrance opens up within an hour after I’ve applied it. It’s a rich and lingering smell, like resin. Vetiver carries me away, appeases me, brings me back to balance. I can almost hear the Earth itself sing beneath my feet, and feel a mighty energy.
Longevity and sillage
The Sycomore has a muffled sillage. The longevity is about 3-4 hours, then it starts to fade. Only if you let someone hug you, they will smell this sensual and warm fragrance in your hair.
When to wear it?
It’s really pleasant to wear when it’s cold and rainy. The best season is early spring. The fragrance can be also worn in cool summer and late fall.
It’s a warm and cozy fragrance, which can cause a headache if worn when it’s hot. It feels like resin starts melting and sticks to your skin, and vetiver smells oppresses instead of being warm and inspiring.
There is no other fragrance to compare this one with, even though I own a pretty large collection.
