Even though Jo Malone has a lot of fans, I don’t really like most of their perfumes. But those that I like become my must haves.
I love how classy the packaging is! The glass bottles differ only in names, which isn’t really convenient when there are many of them on your table. But that’s not a big deal, since whenever I look at it, I feel so excited.
Here is a description:
This fragrance evokes childhood memories of blackberry picking—a burst of deep, tart blackberry juice blends with the freshness of just-gathered bay and brambly woods for a vibrant and verdant impression.
For me, it smells so pure and fresh, like no other perfume. It’s not even a perfume, it’s a quintessence of soft and warm freshness of the morning.
I can’t smell separate notes. It’s a summer morning, bushes are heated by the sun, and yet the smell isn’t herbal but fresh.
It feels like a morning when you’re surrounded by your beloved ones, and everything is fine and you anticipate the future. True pureness.
Also, during my second pregnancy, I was irritated by all fragrances except this one. I used it constantly, it freshened and inspired me. Now I reach for it very often, so I wish I loved it less so my other perfumes wouldn’t stand idle.
Unfortunately, the perfume doesn’t last long. It may linger on my clothes for a day, but I stop smelling it very quickly after application. It’s one of those perfumes you want to spray again and again. For me, it’s a nice habit, like a breath of fresh air in the middle of a hard day.
It’s rather for spring and summer but personally I think it would smell great all year round.
Definitely recommended, it’s magic!
