Lingerie, the new line of lipsticks from NYX, had mixed reviews. According to some reviewers, some of the lipsticks were a bit dry, and some didn’t coat evenly. But I still decided to try two shades - Embellishment and Beauty Mark.
The product is packed in a plastic tube labeled with the word “lingerie” in a sophisticated font. The applicator is flat, firm, and easy to work with.
The texture reminds me of the souffle lipstick from the Soft Matte Lip Cream line, just a little bit thicker and unscented.
Embellishment is a pinky-lilac nude which is great if you’re looking for a slightly cooler shade.
Beauty Mark is the color of milk chocolate, perfect for any girl with a sweet tooth!
The lipsticks are easy to apply and fix Plus they didn’t make my lips look dry or cracked.
The finish from these lipsticks is vivid and shiny, instead of being completely matte. These lipsticks also leave a slight hint of stickiness,which is why I decreased my rating by one star. However, the lipsticks have outstanding lasting power, which is an essential part of any good-quality liquid lipstick. They don’t leave marks on your drinking glass, don’t fade, and look decent even after 5 – 6 hours.
