When I used up my Korean shampoo, I wanted to try something new and organic. Thus I came across a luscious Avalon Organics peppermint shampoo.
Organic Peppermint Essential Oil, Babassu Oil, Organic Aloe and Vitamins strengthen elasticity of weak, brittle hair while smoothing splits ends and fly-aways for radiantly renewed bounce and length.
Safe, natural, effective, pro-organic body care without synthetic fragrances, phthalates, parabens or sulfates.
Gentle plant-derived cleansers enriched with Babassu Oil, Vitamin E, Panthenol, Arginine and Organic Peppermint thoroughly cleanse while repairing elasticity to help prevent breakage for strong, smooth, healthy-looking hair.
Well, the list of ingredients is pretty impressive.
Volume: 325 ml
Here’s a bottle.
The bottle with a convenient press cap opens through a finger press and the product comes out easily.
What strikes me first is a peppermint scent. I love it, it’s so beautiful and intense! But my husband doesn’t like the smell, he always closes the door when I wash my hair. His own peppermint shampoo is alright for him, though.
The scent doesn’t stay long on my hair, it disappears quickly. I smell my fragrance that I’ve sprinkled before washing my hair.
The shampoo doesn’t make my scalp itchy or dry out my hair. Besides, it stays clean long enough. The product has a gentle texture, which is a good thing, as other shampoos irritated my scalp.
It’s easy to apply this product due to its softness. My hair loves it! However, it doesn’t go a long way! One should spread much of it on the scalp. It goes out so fast even if you use it once in 3-4 days. To be honest, there are shampoos that go out even faster.
Result
My hair falls out as earlier, though I have a feeling that it got stronger and thicker. My hair looks natural and healthy, though there’s no volume to be seen. Moreover, it doesn’t get static or fluffy.
My opinion
I guess, it’s similar to the opinion of many girls: If you have no money problem, buy this shampoo. I don’t regret purchasing it and now I plan on ordering it one more time, but I’m going to use this product along with other shampoos.
