I always dreamt about a hair brush straightener. I watched lots of videos and finally learnt about Dafni. I loved it, but it was a bit pricey.
I had porosity and curly hair, that’s why I made up my mind to purchase it regardless of the price.
1)Temperature
The manufacturer set constant 365˚ F and stated that it’s alright for the hair. Actually, I doubt it, as all hairdressers advise, for instance, washing the hair in warm, not hot water. 365˚ F is not a safe temperature, for sure! I can’t say if this brush damages my hair, because I’ve used it just for a couple of times. However, my hair looks natural and smooth.
2) Smell
On the plus side, the brush straightener emits no smell, but I use a heat protectant product, so my hair smells like if it's burnt (if you make laser hair removal, you know the smell), but visually my hair looks okay. I guess, heat protectant product is of no use.
3) Result:
The result is great! My hair is smooth in 3 mins! It requires more time, if you do it with a flat iron.
You can see that a girl straightens her hair from the inside on the picture, but I prefer using it as usual.
The manufacturer says that the brush prevents static electricity in your hair, but it doesn't work with mine or I'm just too picky The root volume disappears, but my hair is smooth and soft by touch.
4) Usability
The brush is quite heavy, but I’m OK with it. Additionally, it doesn’t warm up in my hands.
You can straighten your hair in 3 mins, which is very convenient for on the go!
5) Conclusion:
The brush straightener is such a great thing for those who want to do a hairstyle very quickly.
It differs from the flat iron in price and speed.
There's a ceramic, not a metal surface.
I think it's a bit pricey, so if you don’t want to spend much money, you can buy some other straightening brush that is also good, but costs less.
All in all, the only drawback here is its price.
