Kerastase Extentioniste Thermique Blow Dry Primer - review

I’m not actually a huge fan of hair care. But, despite that, I still have a rather big collection of different hair care products on my bathroom shelf. I always try to test out the products from both high- and low-end series but there’s only one collection that can outperform everything - Kerastase Resistance. I love their shampoo and hair masks. However, not until much later, I didn’t try their leave-in products, that’s why I was so happy to try this heat protectant.

I adore the design of the collection - sleek and eye-catching design, pleasant to look at the shade of the plastic which also differs it from other collections.

The product was packed in the branded box that was covered as well. It has all the necessary product info about the manufacturer, shelf life, ingredients and so on.

Texture-wise, it a lightweight gel-cream which literally melts between my fingers. The smell is rather potent and sweet citrus. It stays in my hair for some time after application.

My hair is natural and never dyed. Naturally, it’s very thin and rare, so it’s essential for me not to weight it down with any leave-in products that I use.

Kerastase Resistance Extentioniste Thermiquе Primer does its job fine!

My hair is shoulder-length and I need a plum stone in size amount of it. I rub it in my hands prior application. I apply it to the length of my hair, paying special attention to the tips or else my hair would look too greasy closer towards the evening already.

I wash my hair every day in the morning, hence I use this primer every day too. I apply it to my towel-dried hair and then follow my other morning routine, letting it dry naturally. Just before I’m leaving the house, I flat iron my hair when it’s absolutely dry.

The Kerastase does a great job! I can see that the quality of my hair has never worsened, given that I flat iron it every day! I even see that the amount of split ends has highly reduced since my latest cut. My hair isn’t frizzy or static with this gel. On the contrary, it feels so soft and even feels thicker to the touch.

The visual aspect is also nice. My hair is neat, shiny and smooth.

What else would I like to get from it?

Kerastase Resistance Extentioniste Thermiquе Blow Dry Primer is a nice addition to my favorite everyday hair care routine collection. I can feel and see the results of its job and the most important is that my hair is never heavy or weigh down! Now, I’d also like to give a shot to other products from the line, like a hair serum and milk.
