I found a travel sized bottle of this shampoo in one of the beauty boxes. Before that I hadn’t even heard of this brand. I became interested and read some reviews. I found out that the reviews were almost all positive and decided to try the shampoo out. It was so pleasant to read the sticker where it was written “sulfate-free”. I was waiting for a keratin treatment, so I put the product aside to use it after that. One day I did the treatment and got out the shampoo.

The travel sized bottle looks exactly as the full sized one.
The flip-top cap is usual, no frills about it.
The shampoo is of transparent consistency with a slight purple cast. It doesn't affect my hair color.
The product is luscious in consistency which is so weird for a shampoo but it ensures a low spending and the product lasting long.
Even though the product is sulfate-free it lathers well enough. But not as much as the sulfate infused shampoos do, of course.
The foam is thick and bouncy.
The fragrance is fascinating. It’s sweet, cuddling and floral. I can smell the oriental notes in it though they aren’t potent or straight in my nose. The fragrance is there only when I wash my hair. When it’s dry, I don’t smell it any more.
My hair is porous, dry and frizzy. Now it looks better after the treatment. I wash it every or every other day.
OGX washes my hair on the roots well. I understand that the product is sulfate-free and that it requires a better massaging and longer washing. I apply the shampoo on the hair roots, massage the scalp, leave the foam for a minute, massage again and rinse off.
The cleansing properties of the product are good and I don’t even have to wash my hair more often. The OGX shampoo is very soft and delicate so don’t wait for a squeaky hair effect.
Well, I presume that they were too nonchalant to promise us that the product will give good volume and dimension to the hair. This is how my hair looks the other day after washing:
Well, nothing magical here as the hair looks exactly the same if I wash it with any other sulfate-free shampoo.
All in all, after washing, my hair is soft to the touch, detangled and texturized.
During the time of use I haven’t noticed any irritation, itching or dandruff. I also haven’t noticed that my hair was getting greasy quicker or anything.
OVERALL
OGX Thick & Full Biotin & Collagen shampoo is a soft and delicate product with a nice fragrance which is free of harmful ingredients. It delicately cleanses my scalp and hair making it soft to the touch. No stunning volume though. I feel like 5 stars will be too much for the product through 4 is not enough or fair.
Well, I recommend to give this shampoo a go if you want delicate cleansing and soft hair.
