Pros: affordable, battery life, ergonomic, gets hard-to-reach areas, i like the process of my teeth cleaning, in-built timer, makes teeth look whiter, massages gums, replacement heads, way better than a usual manual brush
Cons: can’t think of any

Hello there!

I was longing to buy this toothbrush for quite a while. But for some reason I always had to postpone the buy. I used to think that my manual toothbrush that costs a dollar is good and does its job pretty well. And I don’t want to hide the fact that I used to believe that an electric toothbrush costs a fortune. I was so wrong!

Number 1 toothbrush brand recommended by dentists worldwide

I bought this toothbrush really by chance. I went to a drugstore and since there was a discount of 15% for everything there was a huge queue I had to stand in and wait. I was standing near the window with electric toothbrushes and brush heads. In a word I had a chance to look through all of them and finally decided to buy one.

The Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean rechargeable toothbrush delivers a thorough and effective clean. Pulsating to break up plaque, it rotates 7,600 times every minute to sweep away up to twice as much plaque as a manual toothbrush. It features a 2-minute timer to assist effective brushing and comes with 1 Precision Clean interchangeable head.

There was a variety of electric toothbrushes. Most of all there were the Braun and Oral-B products. I also saw some by Philips and other unknown for me brands. I don’t know why but instinctively I decided that I trust the Oral-B brand most of all. What’s more, there were many replaceable brush heads by this brand.

All the brushes looked almost the same in terms of their outer appearance: white-blue brush base, brush head and a press button in the middle. As for the price -well the Oral-B Vitality was the most inexpensive. Less expensive ones were only those working on small batteries.

Well, that’s the story of how I opted for this very brush. Smile

The price was around $26 but that day there was a 15% discount.

  • Supply...

This is what you’ll find in a box if you buy this toothbrush: the brush itself, brush head, charger and manual

The quality of the packaging is very good. Everything was securely packed with cardboard or foam plastic.

  • Product details…

Precision Clean rechargeable toothbrush for a thorough and effective clean

Oscillates and rotates to remove up to twice as much plaque as a manual toothbrush

Pulsates to break-up plaque, and rotates to sweep plaque away

7,600 rotations every minute, 2-minute timer to assist effective brushing

One Precision Clean interchangeable head included

Oral-B Vitality is the best toothbrush to getting to know electric toothbrushes!

I also appreciate that the brush was made in Germany and they offer a 2 year warranty.

In action. There’s only one mode the brush works on where the round brush head oscillates and rotates to sweep plaque away making 7,600 rotations every minute. The brush is ergonomic. It isn’t thick or heavy to hold in a hand. On the back side of it there’s a rubberized area for the brush so it won't slip out of your hands. The brush can be washed with water. The only issue is not to let the water get in the charging point. If you accidentally did so, don’t worry and just wipe the device with a clean tissue.

Charging...

I was a little bit upset when I found out that the battery was made of nickel-metal hydride which means that the device will take a lot of time for charging while the battery life is very short.

No touch charging process. That was something new to me. I got used to seeing the charging port, but nothing like that here. Just a plastic stump and that’s all. At first I was even skeptical about its charging. But no, everything works perfectly well when I put the toothbrush onto this charging stump and plug it in.

There’s an in-built timer. 2 minutes after you turn the device on it’ll vibrate and turn off. You can turn the brush off yourself if you need time, for example to use a mouthwash.

If the stop is less than 30 secs then the timer will go on working.

Included brush head. It’s easy to take off and change if needed. I had the Precision Clear in my set.

The manual is simple and easy. There are pictures there too.

You’ll spend no more than 5 minutes reading it through.

  • Brush heads

I want to draw your attention to this article, as no matter what device you use, the most important lies in the brush.

I hope that I get it right that all the Oral-B Vitality brushes are the same. But the brush heads are different. There are 4 of them. I’ve tried 3 (except the 3DWhite). All the brush heads are great but the best one is, I think, the Floss Action. During the first week of use its bristles may seem to be too rough and hard. I even ended up with my gums bleeding once, so be careful. I noticed the effect after a week of use: I was constantly complimented on my teeth appearance and felt that my teeth were super clean and plaque-free.

The gentlest brush is Sensitive for sure. It does its job well too but the bristles become looking weary and sticking out too quickly.

The brush heads cost a lot, I should say. A pack of 2 replacement heads will cost you about the same as buying the toothbrush itself with a brush included. But remember that there’s always a possibility of finding them on sale here or there if your keep your eyes peeled.

  • My experience with the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush...

I’ve been using this brush for a year already and I’m head over heels with it! My teeth feel so clean and smooth. The first time, I couldn't get used to that feeling. My teeth have become whiter and absolutely plaque-free. The brush gets to all the teeth even the-hardest-to-reach places. I’ve never had such a result with a manual toothbrush.

The brush rotates 7600 per minute and that isn’t too much for an electric toothbrush. There are some bushes that rotate two times more and oscillate 40 thousand times! But they are much more expensive! I don’t see any point buying a high-end brush. Oral-B Vitality is easy and pleasant to use! It works way better than a manual brush and I see and feel it.

I also appreciate the built-in timer. I always make myself brush my teeth till the moment the timer alerts no matter how tired I am. I can see the difference and that’s the most important thing.

I’d advise you to store your toothbrush in a charging point. That way it works better and is always charged. When the battery is low the device rotates less and can switch off at any time.

If the battery is full the brush works for 20 minutes. It seems to be too little but the battery life is enough for 10 uses. As for charging, yes, that’s an issue, guys, 16 hours to a full battery.

This brush is my first electric toothbrush, but for the time being it isn’t the only one. I also bought the Oral-B brush that works on small batteries.

I bought one more Oral-B Vitality toothbrush for my husband as a Christmas present. We used to have one toothbrush but two brush heads and it was so inconvenient and annoying to change those heads all the time. So, an individual brush for each family member is way better and easier.

  • So…

Advantages:

Smile good cleaning and no plaque

Smile in-built timer

Smile easy to use

Smile charging point

Smile replaceable brush heads

Smile price

I can’t think of any disadvantages.

I highly recommend the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush!

Thanks for your attention!
