Greetings!

I was getting ready to write this review for quite a long time. I thought maybe something was wrong with me, not with this popular supplement. Anyway, I decided to voice my own humble opinion as well.

The tablets come housed in a can (it’s pretty heavy). The design is typical for the brand.

Initially, there was a bottle seal in it. Plus I received my can wrapped in many layers of bubble wrap

The cap is metal and closes tightly. Under it, there was a seal and a piece of cotton

The supplement was fresh, I received the tablets from a recent batch

On the backside one can find the list of ingredients, directions etc.

Description:

  • NUTRIENT DELIVERY ASSISTANCE: Many nutrients cannot be delivered to the body externally. This specialized formula is designed to help support collagen in the body
  • COLLAGEN IMPORTANCE: Collagen is a major component of skin, hair and nails that potentially can decrease within the body as we continue to age
  • ADDITIONAL NUTRIENTS: This formula also delivers nutrients like Vitamin C and Copper, which when delivered internally can help support hair, skin and nail health
  • KOSHER, GLUTEN FREE & SUITABLE FOR VEGANS: All tablets are KOF-K Kosher certified, non-GMO and certified gluten free. They are free of: gluten, wheat, dairy, yeast, sugar, and sodium. They are also free of artificial flavors, sweeteners, and preservatives

The content of MSM was the main reason I wanted this supplements so badly.

Appearance:

Color: white, with little blotches.

Scent: somewhat chalk-like.

Size: at first, these tablets reminded me of hyaluronic acid capsules from the same brand that I used to take before. But after a few weeks I realized how different they are. These aren’t simply huge, they have sharp edges (while those of hyaluronic acid are more rounded). I have never had difficulties swallowing supplements, I had taken giant Omega 3 capsules and big vitamins. But taking these turned into a real torture: sometimes I coughed until there were tears in my eyes. I scratched my throat twice, and the unpleasant feeling of soreness lasted till the next day.

I don’t understand how those who experience issues when swallowing capsules can take these supplements. I don’t know, maybe it can be grinded up or something.

It’s recommended to take 2 tablets a day, with water or whatever your doctors suggests.

It’s much, that’s why I ordered the can with 120 tablets.

I always follow the directions when taking supplements, since my stomach is pretty sensitive. I took these after breakfast and drank them with water. I never took the supplements on an empty stomach, why risk it?

But there was a side effect, though. After two weeks I started feeling sick 2-3 hours after taking the supplements. And that’s even though I have a healthy appetite throughout the day and I’m not prone to such things.

I had to force my meals down my throat. It reminded me of morning sickness in the early stages of pregnancy.

After two more weeks, this sickness became occasional and I didn’t know if it depended on something.

I know it may be my individual reaction but after I’ve read through some reviews I realized that I wasn’t the only one with this issue.

I coughed I suffered and yet I went on taking it because of the promised EFFECT. Yes, with capital letters. I was ready to bear all the issues (especially after my appetite stopped disappearing every day).

I didn’t have any unrealistic expectations, I just wanted a noticeable effect.

Let us summarize all of them.

Hair- My roots are oily and my length prone to dryness and curl. The supplement had no effect on the frequency of hair wash. I saw no improvement in the growth.

The only noticeable effect was the reduce of hair fallout. Earlier I used to take a big bundle of hair out of the drain. Now this amount was reduced by a half.

I didn’t change my skin care routine so I can say for sure that these supplements did absolutely nothing. I have combination \ sensitive skin with enlarged pores. The supplement didn’t speed up the recovery of my skin after acne. New pimples appeared depending on skin care and menstrual cycle.

The skin hydration level remained the same (I can say it for sure because I regularly test it). So why did I have to suffer from cough, then?If you need something for your skin, opt for the hyaluronic acid then. The effect is more visible after those capsules.

Nails- I do my nails regularly, so it wasn’t hard to notice any improvement, or, more precisely, the absence of it.

I don’t care about the growth, I’m more interested in quality. As long as I remember, I have uneven nail plates (which have nothing to do with my mani). After this supplement, my nails were the same.

Conclusion:

This didn’t work for me, it was like I’ve thrown $18 into the trash. I can’t recommend this supplement. Maybe I’ll try out other supplements based on MSM but definitely not this one. If you are ready to swallow unswallowable stuff, hoping for an effect, try it, but it may not work out.

Alas.
