Pros: big, fluffy, quality, soft

I bought this brush from the official La Mer website along with their foundation. I also bought another brush at that time, which has already found a new owner for it. It was a foundation brush and I hated it. It applied my foundations dreadfully: the finish looked streaky and in general the blending was a disaster. But this powder brush made me fall for it!

This is how my precious beauty looks like:

The brush is big! I mean it! A couple of swipes and my face is already covered with a powder. It came packed with a silicone cover, which my cat eventually got somewhere. The pouch was good to keep the brush in to save it from dust and bending. All in all the design is top notch, as well as the brush itself! It looks unbelievably elegant and noble, thanks to the white handle and the bristle gradient.

By the way, let’s stop on the bristles. They are densely packed. The cut is super neat, a bristle to a bristle! Each one is very very thin at the end and there are so many bristles here. It’s such a pleasure to swipe this brush all over my skin! I’ve never experienced such a sensation from any brush. Smile It feels like a squirrel's tail. BUT, here all the bristles are synthetic, so no squirrels here. (yes, even a synthetic brush costs $85 from La Mer).

I have been using this brush for quite a while already and there hasn’t been a bristle fall out!

I don’t know if the photos are informative on how soft, quality and densely packed this brush is. Smile:)Smile

There isn’t even anything to add here. Maybe I should mention the technical characteristics. No smell, glue or any other boo-boos were noticed. The brush is perfect!

Here’s what they say about it:

A generously proportioned powder brush that dusts on air-light.

Thousands of soft-touch bristles in a beautifully tapered shape, specially proportioned for quick application without buildup, sweep onto skin for a flawless, light-as-air finish.

By the way, you’ll never overdo your powder if you use this brush. Yes, it will still be possible to build up the coverage, but if you want to apply the product with a thin layer, this brush will diffuse it with the thinnest veil over your skin! I always can’t get enough and want to use it more and more. Smile

All in all the La Mer has 2 brushes in their collection - this powder brush and that foundation brush. As for the foundation brush, it was also nice and densely packed, but I don’t know why it applied all my foundations so unevenly and streaky.

The price of both brushes is $85 for an item.
