Pros: good for applying highlighter and bronzer, great bristles, perfect size, soft brush

Hello everyone,

I’m glad you got interested in my review Smile

Is there anyone left, who hadn’t seen RT brushes and had never dreamed about these makeup tools? Affordable price, nice packaging and great quality - these are all about them! So let’s start with the rest of the pros! Smile

  • Packaging and design:

The brush comes in a small, but beautiful packaging, where you can find some information concerning, for ex., the Youtube channel of the brush creator - Samantha Chapman, where you can find how to use the setting brush.

  • About the brush:

Product claim

Real Techniques brushes combine high-tech materials with innovative design to make creating a pixel-perfect look easier than ever: Taklon bristles are ultra plush and smoother than the hair you'll find in other brushes. Since taklon is synthetic, it's 100% cruelty-free. The soft fibers help create a flawless, high-definition finish in any type of light, from sunlight to harsh indoor lighting. The color-coded system corresponds to the key steps of makeup application so you can create a flawless base (copper), enhanced eyes (purple), and the perfect finish like a pro (pink). Each brush head is hand-cut to the perfect shape, allowing for precise application from dense coverage to a soft, delicate finish. The collection is suitable for a wide range of products and every makeup need – from powders, creams, and liquids to mineral makeup, highlighter, and shimmer. Brush names on the handles make for easy reference when creating your favorite look.

The brush looks so nice! It’s thin with pink metallic handle and rubberized ferrule. Unfortunately, the brush is too thin, so that it hardly stands on a dressing table, but I prefer placing in a glass, anyway.

The synthetic taklon bristles are extremely soft and nice to the touch. I’d say that they’re tightly packed and not a bristle fell out since I’ve started using it. What is more, the brush dries out for a couple of hours which is good.

Initially, I thought that the brush hand is rounded, but it’s taper.

The brush is meant for setting makeup, but as well as many other girls, I prefer using it for highlighter. Though sometimes I use this brush for setting concealer under the eyes which is really convenient due to its form.

I’d love to try some other Sam & Nic brushes, because they’re are so great!

  • Result:

I think the tool is well worth a try! I’m not in the least disappointed with it and now it’s irreplaceable for me.

P.S. Yeah… I’m obsessed with highlighters Laughing out loud

I hope you find my review helpful! Thanks for reading!
