Since I have both of them now, I can easily say that the Beauty Blender and the Real Techniques Sponges are the best! They are a hundred times better than any other sponges and they are definitely worth spending money on!
So, I ordered the Real Techniques Miracle Sponge by Samantha Chapman online, and I can say, that it was completely affordable. The sponge arrived in a cute packaging.
There’s all the information you might be interested in:
When I got the sponge out for the first time, I was so impressed by its soft and gentle texture. It was as soft as the original Beautyblender!
The material is porous, very gentle and pleasant to touch.
Real Techniques Sponge has a precised tip and flat edge. In my opinion, this form is the most convenient. I use the tip to the contours around the nose while the flat edge is very convenient to apply the foundation on the face.
This is how the sponge looks from all the sides:
Once you damp the sponge, it becomes 1.5 times bigger. The more you squeeze out the water, more lightweight coverage you’ll get, and vice versa- the damper the sponge, the heavier coverage you'll get!
The general features of the sponge are just great:
-it doesn’t have any scent
-it doesn’t waste too much foundation
-the sponge is easy to wash, even with a usual liquid soap
-the sponge applies the products evenly without patches or streaks etc.
-thanks to the softest material, it’s very pleasant to touch and so great to work with!!!
So, this is how my skin looks before I apply any product (it’s not in its worst condition now, by the way)
My skin with CC cream, applied with RT sponge
You can see the result. The foundation doesn’t look like a mask, the coverage is lightweight and natural. And I get the same results using any foundation product. The sponge is very pleasant and convenient to work with. And the effect is just Wow!
Overall, I love this new sponge! 5 stars, definitely!
