I want to speak about my brows again. All my life I’ve tried so many brow products that I can easily call myself a guru: pressed powders, creamy textures, color gels, brow pomades etc. I’ve tried a lot of drugstore products as well as high-ends. But still my love belongs to the products released by the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand. So today’s review I dedicate to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo
It’s a very well pressed brow powder of 2 colors lighter and darker ones to create a perfect match. I spent so much time choosing the shade as there are 11 of them in the collection.
When I scanned through my brow products stash I realized that I have a lot of warm toned brow products yet the only cool toned (famous Maybelline in the color 40) was almost used up.
So I picked the product of a cool undertone in the color Medium Brown.
I like the outer appearance of the product very much. A small shiny plastic packaging with the Anastasia Beverly Hills logo. It looks professional and stylish. The number of the color can be found on the back of the packaging. The weight of the powders is 1.6g
I picked the Medium Brown as both powders are of gray-ish brown colors. My mom is blande-haired so she uses the lighter shade while I prefer the darker one. We both are very delighted with the product.
The pigmentation of the powders is amazing. They don’t dust and get well on the brush. The color payoff is also very good as on the brows the colors looks the same as in the packaging. With the help of this product you can easily shape your brows naturally or create beautiful graphically arched eyebrows if you preliminarily apply some brow gel and place the hairs up. If you do so, the powders will become brighter and it’ll be easier to shape them.
I noticed one thing which is a real paradox with about product. You see, both powders look cool undertoned on the swatch while on my eyebrows they look warm.
I prefer naturally shaped brows, so this product has become a must for me.
The product is my recent purchase but I already love it very much. I hope that it’ll last me (and my mom) long.
