Today I’m here to tell you about my favorite brow pencil - Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. This pencil is praised by a lot of beauty bloggers and I think that’s for a reason since the product is genuinely very cool.
When I saw this pencil at the store, I immediately wanted to buy it. For more than 20 years already, the ABH brand has been busy with brow products and I think that 20 years is a good period to gain this success.

About the product:
The pencil has a mechanic nib that you don’t have sharpen, which I’m very happy about. It’s very thin and light and made of good quality plastic material. The lettering is there and it doesn’t fade. The pencil is dual sided. On one side there’s a nib and on the other there’s a brush.
The nib is very thin. The thinnest I’ve ever seen. It’s way harder than any other brow pencils yet it’s very easy to blend out. The product is nicely pigmented and I like that the intensity of the pigment can be varied by pressing the pencil. I find it simple to draw small hairs in the beginning of my brows as well as shaping and lining my brows with this product.
As for the spending, I can’t state anything accurate here as everything depends on how much you press the product and how much of the product you need to use each time you do your brows. This is how much of the product I’ve left now.
If I am to compare this product with the NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil and the HOLIKA HOLIKA Wonder Drawing Skinny Eyebrow,
then I can say the following: this ABH product has the best brush out of three that really combs my hairs and fluffs them up. Also, it never scratches my skin.
Shade and texture:
There are 10 shades in the collection. And remember that you’ll find a perfect match if you opt for the product taking into the consideration your hair color.
I opted for the Dark Brown shade (Brunette previously)
Texture-wise the product is dry and it gives a beautiful powder-like finish. It stays put on my brows the entire day and comes off only with the help of makeup removers.
The way the product looks on my brows:
So, I usually apply this product with stroking motions and then give them a little bit of a shape. I always use a brush to blend out the edges.
I don’t like the popular graphic and Instagram-looking eyebrows. At the moment I’m trying to grow my natural brows better and after that I'll go and shape them professionally, so don't even question why my brows are so bushy and weird-looking. I don’t pluck them at all, as I want a professional to do that.
I’m raving about this product. I know that it's pricey and not at all affordable for everyone. If you want to find a dupe for it, I can say that the NYX Micro Brow Pencil or any other thin Korean brow pencil will do well too, but not as much as this Brow Wiz brow pencil. Anastasia offers us the cool shade selection so I’m sure everybody will find a match.
Thank you for your attention! Be always beautiful!
