I guess that I don’t have to say anything about the Anastasia Beverly Hills brand as it’s very much hyped about all around the globe. We all have heard or even tried out her brow products.
For me the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz has already become the third product that I’ve tried by the brand.
Product info:
Price: $21
Shade: Medium Brown
It matches my eyebrow color perfectly. This shade is even better for me than the Dark Brown shade as I have chestnut hair.
Packaging: As many other products by the ABH brand this pencil has black matte packaging. On the sides it has the list of ingredients, country of origin and shade.
By the way, Brow Wiz pencils are usually made in Korea.
As for the pencil itself, it’s made of good quality plastic (all the lettering has disappeared within 6 months of using), the mechanic nib is very easy to get out. You won’t need to sharpen it. Also the pencil has a spoolie brush on one end. It’s a great brush by the way, it combs my brow hairs really well.
Below I’ll attach some photos for a comparison:
Perfect Brow Pencil and Brow wiz:Here you can see the difference in the nibs and the size of the brushes:
Weight: 0,085 g.
The list of ingredients - in the photo:
Texture: If I am to compare Perfect Brow Pencil and Brow Wiz, then Brow Wiz is more powder-like and dry in consistency, while the Perfect Brow Pencil is more intense in color and it’s more wax-y, I guess.
Which one is better for me? I don’t know for sure. I use both of them with a great pleasure.
Staying power:
Well, here I won’t say anything as I just want you to look at these photos:
Even when I put my hand under the water, the pigment stays there. No changes in the shade or texture. The quality is superb!
My impressions of use:
I’ll start off saying that I have quite unruly brows. First of all there are sparse areas and the hairs are always sticking out to different directions.
And I fight the problem of sparse areas with the Brow Wiz as it really helps me to fill in my brows and make them visually fuller and more beautiful. I appreciate the thin nib as it helps to get the thinnest line and get to all the areas.
And I also like the fact if I overdo with the pigment there’s always a chance to correct this mistake and use the brush to comb the hairs and blend it out.
I’m more than delighted with this brow product!
