I bought this product on the very first day they started selling it on the net. I was anxiously waiting for it to be delivered so now I can review it.
I was super curious about this new launch. First of all, I adore brow makeup from Anastasia Beverly Hills (brow pomades, clear gel, brushes). And secondly, I needed a product which wouldn’t steal much of my time yet still make my brows look tamed, filled in and combed.
Let’s find it out - whether it lived up to my expectations or not.
This gel is available in 11 different shades. I have their brow pomade in the shade Medium Brown which is the most versatile in the collection. However, my brows still looked too bright for me with it. That’s why I decided to give a shot to this Dipbrow Gel in the shade Soft Brown. And it was such a hit!
The packaging of the Dipbrow Gel looks different from what we've gotten used to seeing in Anastasia Beverly Hills makeup. The box is black and golden, which the tube with the gel itself is half see-through (if you own several shades of these, it won’t be a problem to pick up the right one anymore). For our convenience, there’s also the name of the shade and its characteristic on the tube too. Weight: 4.4g
Shelf life: 18 months
According to Anastasia Soare, the Dipbrow Gel is like the Dipbrow Pomade, which is waterproof, long-lasting and smudge-proof. The unique formula adheres to brow hairs, builds the appearance of fullness, and dries down to a seamless matte finish.
Though, it still might take you some time to get used to working with the new product.
The DIPBROW GEL can be applied the following way:
- Color can be applied directly onto the brow hairs as well as the skin, then blended for a natural-looking finish that stays in place
- The unique formula adds volume to brows, creating the appearance of natural dimension and fullness
- Like DIPBROW® Pomade, the gel formula can also be applied to the brow by using a brow brush
- Easily applies and provides a flexible wear that holds brow hairs in place
This brow gel lives up to all my expectations and I really appreciate that it’s so simple to use. I’ll keep on using it daily because for me it’s a real time saver when I fill in my brows.
