Has it ever happened to you that a brand releases their new limited edition palette and your heart stops beating because you’re looking for this palette to buy, then anxiously waiting for the delivery and then when you eventually get it, you hardly ever reach for it? I think that I still have to write a review of this palette because I do believe that I haven’t bought it in vain. 😅

Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette

The palette was packed with a soft-touch box where I still keep the palette because its cover is black and velvet. That cover always willingly collects all the stains, dust, fingerprints and so on. Inside it has a mirror and a dual-sided brush that was made in China.

Product main info:

Size: 9.8g (0.7g for a refill)

Shelf life: 6 months

Made in the USA

Inside it houses 14 eyeshadow shades.

And now I want to show you the swatches:

Liquid is a light metallic shade with the lemon shift.

Eden is a pleasant coral color.

Dimension is an interesting metallic with pink and blue chunky shimmer.

Parallel is a cool-toned brown. Perfect for outer Vs.

The next quad:

Unity is an off-white matte shade. Great for blending. I use it to set the dark shade for my fair skin.

Sphinx is a cool-toned bronze shade. It’s awesome as an accent color.

Pyramid is golden. This palette would not be complete without it. Smile

Throne is emerald. It works its best as an accent. Don’t blend it out or it’ll show black undertone.

The next quad:

Osiris is a very upsetting color. I was hoping that it would be a pure and beautiful color but it’s black based, alas.

Sphere is one of those shades that pushed me for purchasing. But it’s a failure. This seems so beautiful and bright citrine in the palette but so useless in action.

Saturn offers fantastic pigmentation and easy blending.

Eternal one more metallic warm red-orange shade.

And the last two ones:

Obsidian matte black one, which is also useless as Sphere. I still haven’t used it at all. I just don’t want to.

Lure is the shade that stole my heart! When I looked at it for the first time, I already knew that our love would be eternal! It’s awesome for blending.

These eyeshadows aren’t as chunky as those from the Modern Renaissance palette.

I also want to show you some of my makeup looks with this palette:

(spoiler, there won’t be too many of them)

And now, you’ll read the words which you couldn’t expect to read. But I’m charmed by this palette and its color selection. And I’m so disappointed with the way the products look on me. For me, it has to be a special occasion to take out this black dust-collecting palette. Open it and weigh all the pros and cons before using. Aside from that, I also have to use something neutral and basic so as to balance the shades.

The staying power of the products is great, they don’t crease during the day.

The featured brush is ordinary. You won’t do all your makeup with it for sure.

Yet, if you have this palette, you must be feeling very pleased because it was a limited edition.

This palette is definitely not for everyone. Only for the makeup geeks and fanatic collectors of limited editions.
