The DownBoy blush by theBalm is a super quality product. It’s well pigmented, beautiful and pink. The staying power is superb. The design is in theBalm style - very bright and unique. This cardboard box with a mirror, magnet closure and american retro picture inspired by the 40s, is among my faves.
Down Boy is a baby pink shadow/blush adds just the right amount of color to ensure that you turn heads. Our formula is made of finely-graded powder, which helps provide an even and smooth texture to the skin. The light-reflecting particles also give off an aura of elegance without detectable shimmer.
The color is perfect. It doesn’t look odd on the skin but really enlivens my complexion that is so fine for everyday wear.
The consistency of the product is soft and easy to take on a brush. It dusts a little, though a softer brush will change the situation. The blending is easy and great. This blush will flatter girls with cool toned skin.
I don’t use it as eyeshadows, not my color for the eyes to be frank, though if you like such colors on your eyes, then why not, try it out.
I’m hooked on theBalm products, I appreciate the design so much and the price/quality correlation is nothing to speak about.
I have a fair skin tone, especially in winter, so it’s difficult for me to find a flattering blush for it to look natural and not stand out. And you know, a year ago I found my ideal blush. All theBalm products are run in a pin-up style. And this blush is in no way an exception.
For a long time I was looking for good blush for me, as my three-year old blush packaging looked really weary and shattered. I love when my cosmetics are not only great in quality but also look beautiful. And we all know what brand to go to for beautiful packaging, theBalm for sure!
