After my not very successful experience with the best-selling product BareMinerals brand, I didn't even think that I would ever find my favorite foundation from the same brand.
Namely, today we’ll talk about the new product which was released in the early spring of 2019 - BareMinerals COMPLEXION RESCUE™ Hydrating Foundation Stick SPF 25:
By its characteristics and looking at the ingredients list, you can make sure that the foundation doesn’t contain oils and consists of various moisturizing ingredients.
In fact, when I apply it, it feels like a refreshing gel texture that will be very pleasant to use on the face even in the hottest weather and the SPF here is an advantage.
But now let's look through its characteristics:
- the foundation offers sheer to medium coverage, smoothing the overall skin tone and giving it a healthy dewy shine; it won’t conceal severe skin blemishes and it’s more suitable for every day wearing rather than for some important events.
And in life, it looks much better than on the camera, so this is a foundation for real life.

- It really moisturizes my skin well and if you like the effect of a non-made up face with a slightly dewy finish, then this foundation is for you.
It magically blends into my skin texture so that it is almost invisible on the face, but at the same time all the skin blemishes are smoothed out and the reddening becomes less noticeable.
- For longer wearing, as well as for oily skin, it is worth setting it with loose powder, because it doesn’t set itself due to its moisturizing formula, face quickly turns shining with oils. But, a good powder quickly copes with this issue.

I also appreciate SPF 25 here, which is always welcomed.
As for the bad, I can only say that the foundation can sometimes be creased in particularly dry areas of my skin and appear not very good but it can all be easily corrected with a good blending.

In all other respects, I haven’t noticed any other drawbacks about it for 2 months of use. I wear it almost every day and I am absolutely satisfied with my purchase.
I really like that it doesn’t create the appearance of the perfect, photoshopped skin and leaves small moles and freckles visible. But still, it camouflages the appearance of my pores and reddening.
